It was a Thursday morning and our O.D.S. class was starting. We usually start with discussion and compulsory. This week’s topic was the history of Loos. Mum teaches us. We discussed what would happen if there were no loos and what people used when loos weren’t invented.
After break it was Write/Research/Explore. That is when we get our home sheets and tick the choices we want to do. This bit is the most interesting bit for me. I decided to read “Skeleton on the Dunny” and write a humerous story about going to a dunny.
Everyone’s favourite part is Make/Do/Create. But discussion is first. We talked about why we need to keep the toilet lid up. Finally it was Make/Do/Create. Mum read out the choices. I decided to make a toilet seat. I put shapes, flowers and people on mine and a label saying how much it is, what it is called and the barcode.
Later on it was time to share our work. Mum almost missed out on me. At the end we tidied up. I can’t wait until next Thursday.
